About Career Readiness
Career Readiness is more than just preparation for a job—it’s about equipping each and every student with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to explore their interests, ignite their aspirations, and confidently navigate their future. In Belton ISD, the Career Readiness program, known as Belton Career Builders, is built from a comprehensive approach with three pillars—Advanced Academics, Career & Technical Education (CTE), and Marine Corps Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (MJROTC)—each providing students with dynamic, real-work learning experiences uniquely and collectively.
Belton Career Builders fosters curiosity, builds critical thinking, and develops leadership. Through hands-on career training, rigorous academic pathways, and structured military leadership development, our programs are designed to ensure that each and every student graduates with the tools needed to thrive in an evolving workforce and make a meaningful impact in their chosen field. Simply put, in Belton ISD, Career Readiness—Belton Career Builders—is more than just a program. It’s an experience that sets a foundation for opportunity, empowerment, and a brighter tomorrow.
