Dual Credit
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) defines dual credit as a system where eligible high school students can enroll in college courses and earn credits that count toward both their high school diploma and college degree. In Belton ISD, dual credit courses are offered through partnerships with local colleges and may be taught either on our high school campuses by approved instructors, provided as an online course on our high school campuses, or offered at the college campus. These courses include both academic and technical subjects, providing students with diverse opportunities to advance their education.
